The ACCUPRO 77712412 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. Sized at 7.5 mm (0.2953 inches) in diameter with a 140-degree split-point geometry, it delivers fast penetration and accurate hole entry with minimal walking. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating increases surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting environments. Right-hand cutting direction and coolant-through capability make this bit well suited to CNC machining centers and production drilling applications where chip evacuation and heat control are critical. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this bit.
This drill bit is built for use in ferrous metals, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, and other hard-to-machine alloys where a high-performance carbide tool is required. Its 46.9 mm flute length provides adequate depth capacity for most jobber-length drilling tasks. The 8.0 mm shank diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks and collet systems. It is appropriate for horizontal and vertical machining centers, CNC lathes with live tooling, and dedicated drilling machines operating under coolant.
Designed as a high-performance jobber-length drill bit for use in CNC machining centers, lathes with live tooling, and drilling machines equipped with coolant-through toolholding in the 7.00 mm to 8.00 mm drill size range.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC toolholding practices. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is properly seated and torqued in the collet or chuck before initiating a cut. Verify coolant-through pressure is set to machine and toolholder specifications before use. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each setup, as carbide tools can fail without visible warning if run outside recommended parameters.
