The ACCUPRO 772190 is a CAT50 taper shank end mill holder designed for CNC machining centers that require a rigid, accurate tool-holding interface. Built with a 1-1/4 inch bore, this holder accepts end mills and solid carbide tooling of that shank diameter. The 6 inch projection positions the cutting tool away from the spindle face, providing clearance for deep-cavity and tall-workpiece applications. A through-coolant design delivers cutting fluid directly to the tool tip via both through-spindle and DIN flange coolant paths. The holder is balanced to 25,000 RPM, making it suitable for high-speed machining operations where runout control is critical. TIR is rated at 0.0002 inches, supporting tight-tolerance work in production environments. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians are the primary installers.
This end mill holder is intended for use on CAT50-spindle vertical and horizontal machining centers in industrial and job-shop environments. The 6 inch projection makes it well suited for extended-reach operations such as deep-pocket milling, tall-fixture work, and applications where standard-length holders cannot reach the cutting plane. The 1-8 retention knob thread size is standard for CAT50 tooling systems. With a clamping depth of 2.55 inches, the holder provides secure tool engagement for demanding metal-removal operations. This holder is appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes where through-coolant delivery is required to manage heat and chip evacuation at the cutting zone.
Designed as an OEM-style end mill holder for CAT50-spindle CNC machining centers equipped with through-spindle or DIN flange coolant delivery systems and using a 1-8 retention knob thread standard.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician following the machine tool manufacturer's tooling procedures. The spindle must be fully stopped and the machine placed in a safe, locked-out state before inserting or removing any tooling. Use the correct CAT50 retention knob torqued per the machining center manufacturer's specification, which must be sourced from the machine documentation rather than from this product listing. Verify runout with a dial test indicator after installation before commencing any cutting operation.
