The ACCUPRO 772188 is a CAT50 taper shank end mill holder designed for CNC machining centers requiring rigid, accurate toolholding with integrated coolant delivery. The holder accepts a 1-1/4 inch bore and provides 4 inches of projection from the spindle face, giving clearance for deep-cavity and extended-reach milling operations. A total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0002 inches ensures precise concentricity, reducing tool wear and improving surface finish. Through-spindle and DIN flange coolant compatibility supports high-pressure coolant delivery directly to the cutting edge. At 9 pounds, it is built for heavy-duty production environments. Machinists and CNC setup technicians install this holder in professional shop and manufacturing settings.
This end mill holder is suited for use on CAT50-spindle horizontal and vertical machining centers in production and job-shop environments. The 4 inches projection and 2-51/64 inch nose diameter accommodate larger-diameter end mills in applications where extended tool reach or clearance around fixturing is required. The 8 inch overall length and 2.55 inch clamping depth provide a secure grip on tooling. It is balanced to 25,000 RPM, making it appropriate for high-speed machining applications where spindle balance is critical to part quality and spindle bearing longevity.
Designed for use with CAT50-spindle CNC machining centers. Retention knob thread size is 1-8. Coolant system must support through-spindle or DIN flange coolant delivery to utilize the through-coolant feature.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machining center spindle before mounting or removing the holder. Use the correct CAT50 retention knob and torque to the machine tool builder's specification for the spindle model in use. Verify TIR at the toolholder bore with a dial test indicator after seating to confirm proper spindle interface contact before running.
