The ACCUPRO 771060 is a CAT40 dual contact taper shank end mill holder designed for precision milling operations on CNC machining centers. It accepts a 1-1/4 inch bore and delivers a 2 inch projection with a 2-1/4 inch nose diameter. Through-coolant capability routes fluid directly through the spindle to the cutting edge, reducing heat and improving chip evacuation. The holder is balanced to 30,000 RPM and holds a TIR of 0.0002 inch, making it suitable for high-speed finishing and general-purpose milling. Retention knob thread size is 5/8-11. Installation is handled by CNC machinists and toolroom technicians.
This end mill holder is intended for use on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers equipped with a CAT40 dual contact spindle interface. Dual contact taper shank design provides simultaneous taper and flange contact, improving rigidity and repeatability compared to standard single-contact CAT40 holders.
