The ACCUPRO 75563692 is a DCGT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision machining of stainless steel and special or super alloys. It carries ANSI code DCGT32.52 and ISO code DCGT11T308. The insert features a diamond (rhombic) 55-degree shape with a positive side clearance geometry and a PVD coating applied over a carbide substrate. Manufactured in the CI series under grade ACM15S, it is engineered to deliver high wear-resistance while maintaining moderate toughness. The LMF+ chip breaker geometry supports controlled chip formation during finishing and light semi-finishing passes. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install these inserts in screw-lock toolholders on turning centers and lathes.
This insert is suited for turning operations on stainless steel (ISO material group M) and special or super alloys (ISO material group S) where surface finish and tool life consistency are critical. The DCGT geometry with a 7-degree relief angle and 0.80 mm corner radius makes it appropriate for light finishing cuts on difficult-to-machine materials in both production and job-shop environments. The maximum depth of cut is 1.35 mm (0.0531 inches), confirming its role as a finishing rather than roughing insert.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement turning insert compatible with DCGT-style screw-lock toolholders accepting ANSI size code 32.52 or ISO size code 11T308 inserts. Verify toolholder pocket geometry and screw-lock specification before installation.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before changing inserts. Use the correct torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specified torque — do not over-tighten, as carbide inserts are brittle and can fracture under excess clamping force. Inspect the toolholder pocket for chips or debris before seating the new insert to ensure proper indexing and surface contact.
