The ACCUPRO 75547505 is a CNMG433 style carbide turning insert designed for use in CNC and manual lathe applications across a range of ferrous and high-performance workpiece materials. Built to the CNMG120412 ISO standard, this insert features a CVD coating over a carbide substrate with the ACP35M manufacturer grade. The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape and neutral hand orientation make it a versatile choice for general turning operations. The insert holds a 0.0472-inch corner radius and delivers up to 0.1575 inches maximum depth of cut, balancing edge stability with chip control through the WM+ chip breaker geometry.
This insert is suited for turning steel, stainless steel, and special or super alloys in production and job-shop environments. It fits standard CNMG-compatible toolholders and is installed by machinists and CNC operators on turning centers and engine lathes. The negative side clearance and M tolerance code provide consistent dimensional accuracy across repetitive operations. It is well matched to applications requiring a balance of wear resistance and toughness, including interrupted cuts and finishing passes on difficult-to-machine alloys.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement insert for CNMG433-compatible toolholders used in CNC turning and conventional lathe operations.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts. Use the appropriate torque wrench and manufacturer-specified fastener for the clamping method -- clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw mounting are all supported. Inspect the insert seat and toolholder pocket for chips or wear before seating the new insert.
