The ACCUPRO 75542969 is a CCMT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision metal-cutting operations on CNC and manual lathes. It carries ANSI insert code CCMT32.50.5 and ISO insert code CCMT09T302. The insert is manufactured from carbide with a PVD coating under grade ACM25P, delivering a high wear-resistance to high toughness balance suited for steel, stainless steel, and special or super alloy workpieces. The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape and positive side clearance geometry support clean, controlled cuts in a wide range of turning applications. Screw-style holding keeps the insert seated securely under cutting loads. Machining professionals and CNC tooling technicians use this insert as a standard replacement in production and job-shop environments.
This insert is suited for external and internal turning operations on steel (P), stainless steel (M), and special or super alloys (S) workpiece materials. The WSF+ chip breaker geometry manages chip formation across a range of feed rates and depths, making it appropriate for both finishing and light semi-finishing passes. The neutral hand orientation allows flexible application in left- or right-hand toolholders that accept CCMT geometry. Typical install scenarios include production turning cells and toolroom lathes where consistent surface finish and tool life are priorities.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for CCMT09T302 (ISO) and CCMT32.50.5 (ANSI) insert seats in screw-clamp toolholders accepting CCMT geometry with a 0.1752-inch hole diameter.
Installation and indexing should be performed by a qualified machining technician or toolroom professional. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before removing or indexing any insert. Use the appropriate torx or hex key at the manufacturer-recommended procedure for screw-clamp inserts — do not overtighten, as this can crack the carbide body. Inspect the toolholder pocket and clamping screw for wear or damage each time the insert is changed.
