The ACCUPRO 75542175 is a CCMT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision lathe and turning-center operations. Carrying ANSI code CCMT32.52 and ISO code CCMT09T308, this insert features a diamond (rhombic) 80-degree included angle with a positive side clearance and a 7-degree relief angle. The corner radius measures 0.0315 inches (0.80 mm), and the inscribed circle diameter is 0.3752 inches (9.53 mm). Coated with a PVD finish in ACCUPRO grade ACM35P, it is engineered to balance moderate wear resistance and toughness. The screw-clamping hold method keeps the insert secure during interrupted and continuous cuts. Machinists and CNC operators install and index this insert as part of routine tooling maintenance.
This insert is suited for turning steel and stainless steel workpieces in both moderate and demanding cutting conditions. The WM+ chip breaker geometry supports a wide range of feed rates and depths of cut, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.1181 inches (3.00 mm). It fits neutral-hand toolholders accepting CCMT-style inserts and is appropriate for both general turning and semi-finish operations in production and job-shop environments. The CI series designation identifies the product line within the ACCUPRO carbide insert family.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement insert for neutral-hand CCMT toolholders accepting ANSI size code 32.52 or ISO size code 09T308 inserts. Compatible with primary workpiece material codes P (steel) and M (stainless steel) per ISO classification.
Installation and indexing should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician following the toolholder manufacturer's clamping torque guidelines. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or indexing inserts. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key for the clamping screw and inspect the insert seat and screw for wear before seating a new insert. Handle carbide inserts carefully to avoid chipping the cutting edges prior to use.
