The ACCUPRO 75475574 is a CNMG433 indexable turning insert manufactured from CVD-coated carbide in grade ACP25M. It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape with a neutral hand orientation, a 0.0472-inch (1.20 mm) corner radius, and four usable cutting edges. The insert carries a negative side clearance (clearance code N) and tolerance code M, with an inscribed circle of 0.5000 inches (12.70 mm) and an insert thickness of 0.1874 inches (4.76 mm). It is designed for general turning operations on a lathe and is typically installed and changed by machinists and CNC operators working with production or job-shop turning toolholders.

This insert is suited for turning steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces. The ACP25M grade is engineered for high wear-resistance to high toughness on steel (ISO P), high wear-resistance to moderate wear-resistance and toughness on stainless steel (ISO M), and high wear-resistance to moderate wear-resistance and toughness on cast iron (ISO K). The WM+ chip breaker geometry supports a range of cutting conditions across these material groups. Maximum depth of cut is 0.1575 inches (4.00 mm). Compatible with CNMG-style toolholders using clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods.

Installation Notes

Insert replacement is performed by machinists or CNC operators with the spindle fully stopped and the machine locked out per shop safety procedures. Use the appropriate torx or hex key for the specific toolholder holding method; do not overtighten the clamping screw beyond the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the insert seat and clamping surfaces for chips or debris before seating the new insert. Index to the next unused cutting edge before discarding the insert.
