The ACCUPRO 75469130 is a TCMT-style triangular carbide turning insert designed for precision external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. Built to ANSI code TCMT32.51 and ISO code TCMT16T304, this insert carries a CVD coating and is manufactured in grade ACP25M, which delivers high wear resistance across a range of cutting conditions. With a corner radius of 0.0157 inches (0.40 mm) and a positive side clearance geometry, it produces clean finishes on steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces. The insert is held in the toolholder via a center screw and features three usable cutting edges per insert, maximizing value per unit in production environments.
This insert is suited for medium to finishing turning passes on ferrous materials in both job shop and production settings. The WM+ chip breaker geometry is optimized for steel (P), stainless steel (M), and cast iron (K) applications, covering a wide range of primary workpiece materials. Machinists and toolroom technicians working on components that demand consistent dimensional tolerances will find this insert appropriate for moderate feed rates and controlled depth of cut up to 0.1181 inches (3.00 mm). It is sold individually and requires a minimum order of 10 units.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement turning insert for TCMT-style external turning toolholders accepting ANSI size code 32.51 or ISO size code 16T304 inserts with a screw-clamp holding method.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the machine powered down and the spindle locked before changing inserts. Use the correct torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specified torque. Inspect the insert pocket and screw threads for chips or damage before seating a new insert. Rotate to a fresh cutting edge rather than re-using a worn edge to maintain dimensional accuracy and prevent toolholder damage.
