The ACCUPRO 75392365 is a TCMT-style triangular carbide turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Identified by ANSI code TCMT21.51 and ISO code TCMT110204, this insert features a neutral hand orientation, a positive side clearance angle, and a 7-degree relief angle. The corner radius measures 0.0157 inches (0.40 mm), making it suited for moderate finishing and semi-finishing passes. The uncoated ATP15M carbide grade provides high wear resistance across steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpiece materials. Machinists and CNC operators install these inserts in compatible TCMT toolholders using a screw-clamp holding method.
This insert is intended for turning applications on steel (P-class), stainless steel (M-class), and cast iron (K-class) workpieces in both production and job-shop environments. The EN-JF chip breaker geometry supports controlled chip flow during light-to-moderate depth cuts, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.0531 inches (1.35 mm). It is well-suited for finishing passes where edge sharpness and dimensional consistency are priorities. The inscribed circle diameter is 0.2500 inches (6.35 mm), and the insert thickness is 0.0937 inches (2.38 mm). Three usable cutting edges per insert are available before replacement is required.
Designed for use in TCMT-style screw-clamp turning toolholders accepting an 11 ISO size code insert. Verify toolholder pocket geometry, insert thickness, and inscribed circle diameter against toolholder specifications before installation.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the correct torque driver or wrench for the clamping screw to avoid seat damage — do not overtighten by hand estimation alone; follow the toolholder manufacturer torque specification. Inspect the insert pocket seat for chips or debris before seating a new cutting edge.
