The ACCUPRO 75367995 is a CCGT-style carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC and manual lathes. It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape with a positive side clearance geometry, making it well suited for finishing and light roughing passes. The corner radius measures 0.40 mm (0.0157 inches), and the insert carries the ACN15K manufacturer grade with a polished coating finish. With a neutral hand orientation and screw-type holding method, this insert fits standard CCGT toolholders used across production and job-shop turning operations. It is intended for installation by machinists and CNC operators working with cast iron and non-ferrous workpiece materials.
This insert is optimized for cast iron (K) and aluminum and non-ferrous (N) workpiece materials, covering applications from high wear-resistance to moderate wear-resistance and toughness. The LMF+ chip breaker geometry supports controlled chip formation during finishing cuts and light material removal. Typical use cases include OD turning, facing, and contour operations on CNC turning centers and conventional lathes in both production and maintenance-repair environments. The 2-cutting-edge configuration allows the insert to be indexed once before replacement, maximizing cost-per-edge value.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement turning insert for CCGT-style toolholders conforming to ANSI code CCGT21.51 and ISO code CCGT060204. Suitable for toolholders accepting a 0.25-inch (6.35 mm) inscribed circle insert with a 0.1114-inch hole diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to secure the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specified procedure; do not overtighten, as this can crack the carbide. Inspect the insert pocket and screw for wear or damage before seating a new insert.
