The ACCUPRO 75356709 is a WNMG-style indexable carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. Manufactured in the CI series with a CVD coating and ACP25M grade, it delivers high wear-resistance across a range of workpiece materials. The trigon 80-degree insert shape (W) provides six cutting edges per insert, reducing tooling cost per edge. The insert measures 0.5000 inches inscribed circle diameter with a thickness of 0.1874 inches and a corner radius of 0.0315 inches (0.80 mm). It carries a neutral hand orientation and a negative side clearance, making it suitable for standard external turning toolholders.
This insert is suited for production and job-shop turning operations on steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces. The ACP25M grade with CVD coating supports high wear-resistance for steel (P) applications, and moderate wear-resistance with toughness for stainless steel (M) and cast iron (K) applications. Maximum depth of cut is 0.1969 inches (5.00 mm). It is compatible with toolholders accepting WNMG432 or WNMG080402 inserts and can be held via clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw mounting methods. Sold individually; minimum order quantity is 10 units.
Designed for use in toolholders accepting WNMG432 (ANSI) or WNMG080402 (ISO) insert specifications. Compatible holding methods include clamp, lever lock, pin, and screw-type toolholders. Primary workpiece material codes are P (steel), M (stainless steel), and K (cast iron).
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians following standard indexable-insert toolholder procedures. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torque wrench or insert key specified by the toolholder manufacturer when securing screw-type or lever-lock seats. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before seating a new cutting edge to ensure proper insert position and repeatability.
