The ACCUPRO 75260695 is a WNMG332 style indexable carbide turning insert designed for general-purpose external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. Manufactured in the ACP15K grade with a CVD coating, this insert delivers high wear resistance across a range of workpiece materials. The W-shape trigon body provides an 80-degree included angle and six usable cutting edges per insert, maximizing tool life per unit. The neutral hand orientation suits a wide variety of tool holders that accept the WNMG geometry. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers specify this insert for production turning where consistent edge life and repeatable surface finish are required.
This insert is suited for turning steel, stainless steel, and cast iron in both roughing and finishing passes at moderate-to-high cutting speeds. The WM+ chip breaker geometry is optimized for chip control across these material groups. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.1575 inches (4.00 mm) and a corner radius of 0.0315 inches (0.80 mm), it handles general profiling and facing work in automotive, aerospace, and general machining shops. The negative side clearance and clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods make it compatible with standard WNMG insert pockets.
Designed for use in standard WNMG insert pockets accepting negative-rake, clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw-style holding methods. Compatible with tool holders specified for ANSI insert code WNMG332 or ISO insert code WNMG060408.
Insert indexing and replacement should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician with the machine in a full stop, spindle off, and all axis motion disabled. Use the appropriate torque wrench and manufacturer-specified fasteners for the tool holder clamping system to ensure secure insert seating. Inspect the insert pocket for wear, damage, or debris before seating a new insert. Follow your facility safety procedures and machine tool builder guidelines when handling carbide inserts, as edges are extremely sharp.
