The ACCUPRO 75260554 is a WNMG-style indexable carbide turning insert designed for general and finish turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries ANSI insert code WNMG332 and ISO code WNMG060408. The insert is manufactured in a W-shape trigon 80-degree geometry with a neutral hand orientation and features a CVD coating applied over a carbide substrate. Grade ACM20P with an IPK+ chip breaker geometry delivers high wear resistance across a range of cutting conditions. The insert provides 6 cutting edges per piece and measures 0.1874 inches thick with an inscribed circle of 0.3752 inches and a corner radius of 0.0315 inches.
This insert is suited for turning steel (ISO material group P) and stainless steel (ISO material group M) workpieces where consistent surface finish and tool life are required. Typical applications include roughing-to-finishing passes on shafts, flanges, and turned components in production and job-shop environments. The IPK+ chip breaker supports effective chip control across moderate feed and speed ranges. Licensed machinists and CNC turning specialists install these inserts in toolholders designed for WNMG-style inserts with negative side clearance geometry. Maximum depth of cut is 0.1654 inches (4.20 mm).
Designed for use in WNMG-style indexable turning toolholders with negative side clearance (clearance code N, tolerance code M) that accept inserts with a 0.1512-inch hole diameter. Compatible holding methods include clamp, lever lock, pin, and screw styles.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine before indexing or replacing inserts. Seat the insert fully against the toolholder pocket before tightening the clamping mechanism to the toolholder manufacturer's specified method. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before installation to ensure accurate insert seating and prevent premature edge failure.
