The ACCUPRO 75260513 is a WNMG432 style indexable carbide turning insert designed for external and internal turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. This insert carries an 80-degree trigon shape with a neutral hand orientation and a CVD coating applied over a carbide substrate in the ACP15K grade. The 0.0315-inch corner radius and WM+ chip breaker geometry support consistent chip control across a range of feed rates and depths of cut. With six cutting edges available per insert, this is an efficient choice for production turning environments where tooling cost per edge matters.
This insert is suited for turning steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces in both roughing and finishing passes. The ACP15K grade is engineered for high wear resistance to moderate wear resistance and toughness across P, M, and K workpiece material classifications. It fits toolholders designed for WNMG-style inserts using clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods. Typical applications include shaft turning, facing, and profiling operations in job shops, production floors, and maintenance machining environments.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for WNMG432 and WNMG080402 style insert seats on toolholders accepting negative-rake WNMG geometry inserts with a 0.5000-inch inscribed circle diameter.
Indexable inserts are installed and replaced by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts. Inspect the toolholder pocket and clamping components for wear or damage before seating a new insert. Torque clamping screws to the toolholder manufacturer specifications and verify insert seating before resuming cuts.
