The ACCUPRO 75260372 is a WNMG-style indexable carbide turning insert designed for general and finish turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Carrying the ANSI code WNMG331 and ISO code WNMG060404, it features an 80-degree trigon (W) insert shape with a neutral hand orientation and a negative side clearance. The CVD coating and ACP15K manufacturer grade deliver high wear resistance across a range of cutting conditions. With six usable cutting edges and a 0.40 mm (0.0157 inch) corner radius, this insert balances tool life and surface finish for medium to high-production turning work. It is sold individually and ordered in multiples of 10.
This insert is suited for turning Steel (P), Stainless Steel (M), and Cast Iron (K) workpiece materials, covering a broad spectrum of shop applications from job-shop turning to production environments. The WM+ chip breaker geometry is engineered to manage chips across moderate to high wear-resistance cutting conditions. Typical users include machinists and CNC lathe operators running interrupted or continuous cuts on ferrous materials. The insert fits toolholders designed for WNMG-style inserts using clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for WNMG331 and WNMG060404 style indexable turning insert toolholders that accept clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods. Primary workpiece material codes: P (Steel), M (Stainless Steel), and K (Cast Iron).
Indexable insert installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine powered off and the spindle fully stopped. Seat the insert firmly and evenly on the toolholder pocket before engaging the clamping mechanism, ensuring no debris is present on the seating surface. Follow the toolholder manufacturer guidelines for clamping torque and holding method. Inspect the cutting edge and seating pocket at each index to verify secure engagement before resuming operation.
