The ACCUPRO 75257063 is a TCMT-style triangular carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. It features a CVD coating in manufacturer grade ACM20P, engineered for high wear resistance with moderate toughness across steel and stainless steel workpiece materials. The insert carries a 7-degree relief angle and a 0.40 mm (0.0157 inch) corner radius, making it suited for general-purpose finishing and semi-finishing passes. Holding method is screw-on with a positive side clearance geometry. Three cutting edges per insert reduce per-edge tooling cost on high-volume turning operations. This insert is installed by machinists and CNC tooling specialists in production and job-shop environments.
The 75257063 is applied in turning operations on steel (P) and stainless steel (M) workpiece materials where consistent surface finish and edge life are priorities. It fits standard TCMT insert pockets on screw-clamp toolholders. Typical use cases include OD turning, facing, and light profiling passes at controlled depths. The WM+ chip breaker geometry supports chip control across a range of feed rates and depths up to 3.00 mm (0.1181 inches), keeping the work area clear during continuous cuts.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for TCMT090204 (ISO) or TCMT18.151 (ANSI) insert pockets on screw-clamp turning toolholders accepting a 5.56 mm (0.2189 inch) inscribed circle triangular insert.
This insert is installed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to secure the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer specification — do not overtighten, as carbide inserts are brittle and can fracture. Inspect the insert pocket and screw threads for wear or debris before seating a new insert.
