The ACCUPRO 72094113 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding applications. Built from solid carbide with an AlTiN+ coating, it delivers superior heat resistance and wear life when cutting high-temperature alloys and other difficult materials. The 3/4 inch diameter tool features 6 flutes with a variable helix and variable index geometry, reducing chatter and improving surface finish at higher feed rates. With a 0.010 inch corner radius, it produces a controlled edge break rather than a sharp corner, extending tool life in aggressive cuts. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, energy, and industrial manufacturing will find this tool suited to their toughest workpiece materials.
This end mill is intended for milling high-temperature alloys (material code S), including nickel-based superalloys, titanium, and similar materials common in aerospace and power generation work. Its 1-5/8 inch length of cut and 4 inch overall length make it appropriate for moderate-depth peripheral and slot milling operations on CNC machining centers. The single-end configuration keeps mass low for consistent tool balance. The center-cutting design allows plunge entry where the application calls for it.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter. Primary workpiece material designation is high-temperature alloy (code S), including nickel superalloys and titanium. Confirm machine spindle speed and feed rate parameters match the tool geometry before use.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or lockout state before changing tooling. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder matching the 3/4 inch shank diameter to ensure runout is within acceptable limits. Verify cutting parameters — speed, feed, and depth of cut — are appropriate for the workpiece material and machine capability before initiating a cut.
