The ACCUPRO 72081334 is a single-end, solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding materials. With a 0.375-inch (9.53 mm) mill diameter, 6 flutes, and a 0.030-inch corner radius, it delivers clean edge transitions and extended tool life in tight-tolerance work. The AlTiN+ coating provides heat resistance and wear protection suited for dry or semi-dry cutting at elevated speeds. Variable helix and variable index geometry reduce harmonic vibration and chatter, improving surface finish and chip evacuation. This tool is intended for installation and use by machinists and CNC tooling professionals working in production or job-shop environments.
This end mill is primarily rated for high-temperature alloys (material code S), including nickel-based superalloys, titanium, and similar difficult-to-machine workpiece materials. The 2-inch length of cut and 4-inch overall length make it suitable for moderate-depth profiling, slotting, and contouring passes where rigidity and thermal stability are critical. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry, and features right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. The HS series designation identifies it as a high-speed application tool within the ACCUPRO lineup.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and milling machines accepting a 3/8-inch straight shank. Primary workpiece material rating is high-temperature alloy (S). No specific machine model compatibility was provided in the product data.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Secure the shank fully in a collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening to prevent runout. Confirm spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before engaging the cut. Follow your machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety protocols when setting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for high-temp alloy applications.
