The ACCUPRO 72056708 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. With a 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) diameter and six flutes, it delivers aggressive material removal while maintaining a fine surface finish. The AlTiN+ coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in elevated cutting temperatures. A variable helix angle of 36 and 40 degrees, combined with variable index geometry, reduces chatter and harmonics during cuts. This single-end tool is center-cutting and right-hand cutting with a right-hand helical flute direction. It is sized for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.

This end mill is optimized for high-temperature alloys (material code S), including nickel-based superalloys, titanium, and similar difficult-to-machine materials.
