The ACCUPRO 72032469 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding applications. With a 0.2500-inch (6.35 mm) mill diameter and 6 helical flutes, it delivers smooth cutting action and efficient chip evacuation. The AlTiN+ coating provides heat and wear resistance suited for high-temperature alloy machining. A variable helix angle of 36 and 40 degrees combined with variable index geometry reduces chatter and harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts. Centercutting capability allows plunge milling in addition to standard profiling operations. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in professional shop environments.
The 72032469 is optimized for milling high-temperature alloys (workpiece material code S), including nickel-based superalloys and other difficult-to-machine materials common in aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing. The 0.7500-inch length of cut and 2.5000-inch overall length make it well suited for moderate-depth profiling, slotting, and contouring passes. The straight shank at 0.2500 inches fits standard collet systems used on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Single-end configuration keeps the tool rigid and minimizes runout at the cutting edge.
Designed for use with standard 1/4-inch collet systems on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Optimized for primary workpiece material code S (high-temperature alloys). Part of the ACCUPRO HS series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the straight shank fully and evenly in a clean, undamaged collet to minimize runout. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and tooling manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut when working with high-temperature alloys.
