The ACCUPRO 72014012 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance machining in demanding applications. With a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) diameter and 6 flutes, it delivers superior material removal rates and surface finish quality. The AlTiN+ coating provides exceptional heat resistance and tool life when cutting hard or abrasive materials. A variable helix angle ranging from 36 to 40 degrees, combined with a variable index, reduces harmonic vibration and chatter during aggressive cuts. This tool is single-end and centercutting, making it capable of plunge operations. Machinists and CNC operators in aerospace, oil and gas, and precision manufacturing shops are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill is engineered for cutting high-temperature alloys, classified under workpiece material code S. Typical applications include roughing and finishing operations on nickel-based superalloys, titanium, and stainless steels where heat generation and tool wear are primary concerns. The right-hand cut and right-hand helical flute geometry are standard for conventional vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers. It is part of the ACCUPRO HS series, optimized for high-speed and high-efficiency milling strategies.
Designed for use in CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers accepting a 3/4 inch straight shank. Primary workpiece material designation is high-temperature alloy (material code S), including nickel superalloys and titanium alloys.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank in a collet chuck or end mill holder rated for the 3/4 inch shank diameter, ensuring adequate gripping length to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Verify spindle runout before use, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on multi-flute carbide tools. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the specific workpiece material being machined.
