The ACCUPRO 72013618 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) mill diameter, six flutes, and a 1.0000 inch length of cut, this tool delivers aggressive material removal while maintaining tight tolerances. The AlTiN+ coating provides elevated heat and wear resistance, making the tool well-suited for high-temperature alloy machining where tool life is a critical factor. Variable helix and variable index geometry reduce harmonics and chatter during cutting, improving surface finish and tool stability. It is a single-end, center-cutting tool with right-hand cutting and right-hand helical flutes.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where high-temp alloys such as Inconel, titanium, and similar materials are the primary workpiece. The AlTiN+ coating and optimized helix angle of 36 to 40 degrees support extended tool life when running harder materials at elevated spindle speeds. The 3/4 inch shank diameter matches the mill diameter, allowing direct collet or end mill holder mounting without a reduction sleeve. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals performing aerospace, defense, and energy sector component work will find this geometry particularly appropriate.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct tooling solution for 3/4 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic holders used in CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. Primary workpiece material designation is High-Temp Alloy (material code S).
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended gauge line and torque the retention hardware per the holder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, as excessive runout accelerates wear on carbide tooling.
