The ACCUPRO 72011794 is a single-end, solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling of high-temperature alloys and other demanding workpiece materials. It features a 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) cutting diameter with six flutes and a 3/4 inch length of cut, delivering excellent material removal rates in tight-tolerance applications. The AlTiN+ coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life under the elevated cutting temperatures common in aerospace and power-generation component machining. Variable helix and variable index geometry reduce chatter and harmonic vibration during the cut. This tool is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators working in precision manufacturing environments.
This end mill is suited for milling high-temp alloys (UNSPSC workpiece material code S), including nickel-based superalloys, titanium, and similar difficult-to-machine materials. The 1/4 inch shank diameter matches the cutting diameter for direct chuck or collet mounting. With a 2.5 inch overall length and no extended reach, it is optimized for rigid setups with minimal overhang. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC machining center spindles. Single-end configuration means the tool is replaced when worn rather than flipped.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills with 1/4 inch collet or chuck systems. Primary workpiece material is high-temperature alloy (material code S); the AlTiN+ coating and variable geometry are specifically matched to that application.
This end mill is installed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the tool from the collet or toolholder. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the collet is torqued to the toolholder manufacturer specification before running. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use, especially after any interrupted cut in high-temp alloy.
