The ACCUPRO 63310502 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in hard and abrasive materials. It measures 8 mm in diameter with an overall length of 75 mm and a flute length of 40 mm. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The 140-degree notched point reduces thrust and improves self-centering on entry. This bit is used by machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance professionals operating CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual equipment in production and job-shop environments.
This drill bit is suited for applications in ferrous metals, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys where standard high-speed steel tooling wears prematurely. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks and collet holders. With a 4xD flute-to-diameter ratio and a maximum drilling depth of 32 mm, it handles through-hole and blind-hole work in medium-thickness workpieces. The regular spiral and parallel web configuration provide consistent chip evacuation. It is sold individually and intended for professional machine-shop and industrial maintenance use.
Designed as a high-performance jobber-length drill bit for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual drilling equipment equipped with standard chuck or collet toolholding systems accepting an 8 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout is within acceptable tolerance for the application. Use appropriate cutting fluid or coolant where the machine setup permits, particularly when drilling stainless steel or high-temperature alloys. Inspect the cutting edge for chipping before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and sensitive to side loads or interrupted cuts. Follow the machine manufacturer and applicable shop-safety guidelines when setting spindle speed and feed rate.
