The ACCUPRO 63309595 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit sized to Letter Q (0.3320 inches) with a 140-degree notched point angle and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating. It is designed for high-performance drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened alloys, and abrasive materials. The regular spiral flute geometry and web-thinned parallel web design improve chip evacuation and reduce entry thrust. At 3 inches overall length with a 1.5940-inch flute length, this bit fits standard drill chucks and CNC machining centers. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and metalworking professionals install and operate this bit in production and job-shop environments.
This drill bit is suited for precision hole-making operations in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials where tool life and dimensional accuracy matter. The straight-cylindrical shank at 3/8 inch diameter seats securely in standard keyless or keyed chucks. The 4xD flute-to-diameter ratio and a maximum drilling depth of 1.3300 inches make it appropriate for through-holes and blind holes in plate stock, structural components, and machined parts. It is sold individually and is well matched to both manual drill presses and CNC drilling cycles.
Designed as a high-performance replacement jobber length drill bit for applications requiring a Letter Q (0.3320 inch) diameter hole; fits standard drill chucks and CNC tool holders accepting a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with cutting tool setup and speeds-and-feeds selection for carbide tooling. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout is within acceptable limits. Use appropriate cutting fluid or mist coolant where the application allows, even though this bit does not feature through-coolant capability. Inspect the cutting edges before each use and remove from service at first sign of chipping or coating wear to avoid workpiece damage.
