The ACCUPRO 61534095 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. Measuring 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch decimal) in diameter with a 140-degree split point, it features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating for extended tool life in hard and abrasive workpiece materials. The overall length is 2.677 inches (68 mm), with a spiral flute length of 0.684 inches (17.4 mm). Coolant-through capability supports high-speed drilling operations where heat management is critical. This bit is a standard choice for machinists and tooling professionals working in metal fabrication, aerospace component work, and precision manufacturing environments.
This drill bit is suited for drilling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and other hard metals where solid carbide construction and a protective coating are required to maintain cutting edge integrity. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks and collet systems. Its 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral type make it appropriate for general jobber-length applications on CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual milling machines. The web-thinned, tapered web configuration reduces thrust force at entry and improves chip evacuation in through-hole drilling.
Designed as a jobber-length drill bit for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machines equipped with standard chucks or collet systems that accept a 3 mm (0.118 inch) straight-cylindrical shank. Conforms to ISO specification designation.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with cutting tool setup and speeds-and-feeds selection for solid carbide tooling. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and power is isolated before loading or removing the bit from any chuck or collet. Do not use excessive runout or an improperly sized collet, as solid carbide is brittle and sensitive to lateral loading. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and tooling supplier recommendations for appropriate cutting parameters based on workpiece material.
