The ACCUPRO 587652 is an ER11 series collet designed for precision CNC machining and toolholding applications. It accepts tool shanks up to 0.059 inches in diameter with a minimum collet capacity of 0.039 inches, providing a usable clamping range suited to small-diameter end mills, drills, and reamers. The collet holds a total indicated runout (TIR) of 0.02mm, making it appropriate for applications where concentricity and surface finish are critical. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet into compatible ER11 collet chucks mounted on CNC milling machines, lathes, and engraving spindles.
This collet is used in light-duty to medium-duty machining environments where small cutting tools must be held with minimal runout. Typical applications include circuit board drilling, engraving, and small-part milling in job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms. The ER11 series is one of the most widely used collet standards, making this size a common replacement or spare for facilities running small-diameter tooling programs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement collet for use in standard ER11 collet chucks and compatible spindle toolholding systems.
ER11 collets are installed and removed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing collets. Use the appropriate ER11 collet nut and spanner wrench to seat and torque the assembly — do not use improvised tools that could damage the collet taper or nut threads. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips or contamination before installation to maintain the rated TIR.
