The ACCUPRO 586521 is a DA100 series double angle collet designed for use in DA-style collet chucks on milling machines, machining centers, and CNC equipment. The double angle design provides a secure, concentric grip on cutting tools and round stock, distributing clamping force evenly across the collet body. This collet accepts a 9/16 inch tool shank and measures 1.441 inches overall length with an overall diameter of 0.769 inches. It is installed and serviced by machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments where precise tool holding is critical to finish quality and dimensional accuracy.
This collet is suited for milling and light drilling operations in both manual and CNC machine tool setups that use the DA100 collet chuck standard. The 9/16 inch bore accommodates end mills, drill bits, reamers, and other round-shank tooling of that diameter. It is a standard replacement or additional collet for shops maintaining a full range of DA100 bore sizes across their tooling inventory.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for DA100 series collet chucks accepting 9/16 inch bore collets. Verify chuck manufacturer specifications before installation to confirm DA100 collet compatibility.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing collets. Inspect the collet chuck bore and collet body for chips, nicks, or wear before seating; debris in the taper will cause runout and premature wear. Use the correct collet nut and tighten to the chuck manufacturer torque specification using a spanner wrench rated for the application.
