The ACCUPRO 586349 is a DA100 series double angle collet designed for use in milling, drilling, and tapping operations on CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with DA100 toolholders. The collet accepts a 0.2344-inch (15/64 inch) tool shank and features a 0.769-inch overall diameter with an overall length of 1.441 inches. The double angle design provides a secure, concentric grip on round-shank cutting tools, reducing runout and maintaining tool position under cutting loads. Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians as part of standard toolholder setup.
This collet is suited for production and job-shop environments where DA100 collet chucks are in use. Typical applications include light-to-medium milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping with 15/64-inch shank tools. The DA100 series is a common collet standard found on a wide range of machining center spindles and manual mill toolholders. The compact overall length of 1.441 inches supports use in applications where spindle clearance is a consideration.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling addition for machine setups using DA100 series collet chucks and toolholders.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician using the appropriate DA100 collet nut and spanner wrench. Ensure the toolholder and spindle are fully de-energized and the machine is in a safe lockout state before changing collets. Inspect the collet bore and taper surfaces for chips or damage before seating. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's recommended clamping torque range for the DA100 series.
