The ACCUPRO 586339 is a DA100 series double angle collet designed for use in CNC machining centers, milling machines, and high-speed routing applications. It accepts a 5/32 inch (0.15630 inch) tool shank and provides a secure, concentric grip on cutting tools including end mills, drills, and router bits. The overall length is 1.441 inches and the overall diameter is 0.769 inches. Machinists and CNC operators rely on double angle collets for their ability to transmit torque reliably while maintaining close runout tolerances across production and job shop environments.
This collet fits DA100 collet chucks commonly found in vertical machining centers and milling spindles in both production and toolroom settings. It is suited for light to moderate material removal operations where a compact, accurate tool-holding solution is required. The DA100 series is a widely used standard in shops running a variety of cutting tool diameters, and the 5/32 inch bore size serves smaller-diameter tooling common in detail work and finishing passes.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or spare for DA100 collet chucks requiring a 5/32 inch bore collet. Compatible with any spindle or chuck system built to the DA100 collet standard.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Before installing or removing collets, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out per shop lockout/tagout procedures. Clean the collet and chuck bore thoroughly before seating to ensure proper runout and clamping performance. Do not overtighten the collet nut beyond manufacturer-specified torque for the chuck model in use.
