The ACCUPRO 584475 is a standard single angle collet in the TG/PG 100 series, designed for use in TG/PG 100 collet chucks on CNC machining centers, lathes, and manual milling machines. It accepts tooling with a 0.875 inch shank diameter and delivers a total indicated runout (TIR) of 0.00078 inches, supporting accurate, repeatable tool positioning in production and job-shop environments. The maximum body diameter is 1.278 inches and the overall length is 2.386 inches. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet when precise clamping and minimal runout are required for drilling, reaming, or end-milling operations.
This collet is suited for both production and prototype machining applications where TG/PG 100 toolholding systems are in use. It fits standard TG/PG 100 collet chucks found on knee mills, vertical machining centers, and similar equipment in light to medium-duty cutting operations. The 7/8 inch nominal size makes it a common selection for standard fractional tooling in general metalworking shops.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit collet for toolholding systems using the TG/PG 100 collet series with a 0.875 inch bore requirement.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician using appropriate TG/PG 100 collet chuck hardware. Always de-energize and lock out the machine spindle before changing collets. Ensure the collet bore, shank, and chuck body are clean and free of chips or debris before seating the collet. Do not force the collet into the chuck; it should seat smoothly by hand before the drawbar or nut is tightened.
