The ACCUPRO 584434 is a standard single angle collet engineered for TG100 and PG100 toolholding systems. It accepts a 0.2344 inch (15/64 inch) shank and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.00078 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications where concentricity directly affects surface finish and tool life. The collet measures 2.386 inches in overall length with a maximum body diameter of 1.278 inches. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in CNC milling, drilling, and tapping operations that require a secure, repeatable tool grip.
This collet fits TG100 and PG100 collet chucks used in vertical and horizontal machining centers across both production and job shop environments. The 15/64 inch bore size covers a common imperial tooling dimension used with drills, end mills, and taps. Its standard angle design is suited for general-purpose material removal where consistent gripping force and low runout are required across repeated tool changes.
Designed for use with TG100 and PG100 series collet chucks accepting standard single angle collets with a 0.2344 inch bore.
Collet installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool and toolholder manufacturer guidelines. Always power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing collets. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips, burrs, or wear before assembly, as contamination directly increases runout. Do not exceed the collet gripping range by forcing undersized or oversized shank tooling into the bore.
