The ACCUPRO 50369 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in hard and abrasive materials. Sized to wire gauge number 7, it has a decimal diameter of 0.2010 inches and features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating that improves heat resistance and extends tool life in demanding cutting applications. The 150-degree drill point angle reduces thrust and improves chip evacuation when entering harder workpieces. With a 3-inch overall length and a 3-flute spiral configuration, this bit is suited for use in CNC machining centers and high-performance drill presses in metalworking and fabrication environments. It is installed and used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This bit is intended for dry or light-lubrication drilling operations in hard metals, hardened steels, stainless, and similar alloys where high-speed steel tooling wears prematurely. The solid carbide substrate combined with the AlTiN coating makes it appropriate for production drilling in aerospace, automotive, and precision machined-parts manufacturing. It is a jobber-length format, making it compatible with standard drill chucks and collet holders found on most machining equipment. Coolant-through is not supported on this model.
Designed as an OEM-style jobber-length drill bit for use in standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting a straight cylindrical shank at 0.2010 inches diameter, conforming to ANSI specification designation.
Solid carbide drill bits are installed by machinists in CNC machining centers, drill presses, or manual mills using a properly sized collet or chuck. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the holder is torqued to equipment manufacturer specifications before operation. Solid carbide is brittle compared to high-speed steel — avoid side loading, interrupted cuts without appropriate feed rate adjustments, or dropping the tool. Inspect the cutting edge for chipping before each use.
