The ACCUPRO 50367 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding materials. Ground to a 150-degree drill point angle, it handles hard alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, and other difficult workpieces where high-speed steel tooling falls short. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating adds heat resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in dry or near-dry cutting conditions. Three spiral flutes in a regular helix evacuate chips efficiently and reduce cutting torque. Overall length is 2.99 inches with a 1.18-inch flute length, giving machinists a compact reach suited to standard jobber applications. Installed by machinists, tool and die makers, and production shop technicians.
This bit is suited for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual mills where tight tolerances and repeatable hole quality are required. The straight cylindrical shank mounts directly in standard drill chucks, collets, and hydraulic toolholders without modification. Its 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and right-hand cutting direction make it a direct fit for conventional drilling operations in metalworking, aerospace fabrication, mold making, and general job-shop environments where solid carbide tooling is specified.
Designed as a standard jobber-length solid carbide drill bit with a straight cylindrical shank, compatible with drill chucks, ER collets, and hydraulic toolholders sized for a 5 mm shank diameter on CNC and manual drilling equipment.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per applicable shop safety procedures. Verify chuck or collet runout before use, as excessive runout accelerates carbide edge chipping. Solid carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used in worn or high-vibration spindles. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit, so confirm cutting parameters and chip clearance are appropriate for dry or mist-assisted operation.
