The ACCUPRO 50365 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in hard and abrasive materials. It measures 3/16 inch (0.1900 inch decimal) in diameter with a 3-inch overall length and a 150-degree drill point angle suited for flat-bottomed entry and reduced thrust in tough alloys. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating extends tool life by improving heat resistance and reducing friction at the cutting edge. Three spiral flutes clear chips efficiently and maintain consistent cutting performance. This bit is well suited for machinists, fabricators, and maintenance trades working with stainless steel, hardened steel, cast iron, and similar materials.
The ACCUPRO 50365 is used in production and maintenance machining environments where carbide tooling is specified over high-speed steel. The 150-degree standard point angle makes it effective on flat and curved workpiece surfaces without a center punch in many setups. The 1-1/8 inch flute length provides adequate chip clearance for depths within the jobber range. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional drill press, CNC, and hand-held power tool applications. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks across a wide range of machine platforms.
Designed as a jobber-length carbide drill bit fitting standard straight-shank drill chucks across drill presses, CNC machining centers, and power tools accepting 3/16 inch shank tooling. Suitable for materials within the 0.1500 to 0.2000 inch drill bit size range class.
Install and remove this bit only with the machine fully powered down and the spindle at a complete stop. Secure the straight cylindrical shank fully into the chuck jaws and tighten with a chuck key before operation. Carbide is brittle — avoid lateral loading or side pressure that can cause chipping or fracture. Follow applicable workplace safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for speeds and feeds when using carbide tooling.
