The ACCUPRO 50361 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit sized at 11/64 inches (0.1719 inches) in diameter, designed for precision hole-making in hard and abrasive materials. The bit carries an ALTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating that extends tool life by reducing heat buildup and resisting wear at the cutting edge. With a 150-degree drill point angle and a three-flute spiral design, it evacuates chips efficiently and provides a stable, accurate entry point. Overall length is 2.75 inches with a 1-inch flute length. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians install this bit in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held drilling equipment for demanding metalworking operations.
The ACCUPRO 50361 suits applications in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, cast iron, hardened alloys, and composite materials where standard high-speed steel bits underperform. It is well suited to job-shop environments, aerospace component work, and precision maintenance machining. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks without adapters. Right-hand cutting direction and regular spiral type make it a direct drop-in for conventional right-hand drilling setups. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports deeper hole applications within its class without excessive deflection.
Designed as a standard jobber length drill bit with a straight cylindrical shank, compatible with any drill chuck sized to accept an 11/64-inch shank on CNC machining centers, drill presses, or portable drilling equipment.
This bit is installed by a machinist or qualified technician. De-energize and lock out the drilling machine before changing bits. Seat the straight shank fully and evenly in the chuck, tightening with a chuck key on all key positions where applicable. Solid carbide bits are brittle compared to high-speed steel; avoid side loading or impact use, and do not use this bit in hammer-drill mode.
