The 140-degree web-thinned point reduces thrust at entry and improves centering without a separate spotting operation. At 66.00 mm overall length with a 28.00 mm flute length, this is a stub-length geometry intended for rigid setups in CNC machining centers, lathes, and drill presses where minimizing deflection is a priority. This drill bit is suited for high-cycle production drilling on CNC machining centers and manual drill presses. Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with carbide tooling and applicable shop safety practices. Solid carbide tooling is brittle and susceptible to chipping from interrupted cuts, side loading, or improper feed rates — do not force entry or use in worn spindles with excessive runout.
