The ACCUPRO 4500276 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials, particularly stainless steel. It features a 140-degree split point geometry with R-thinned web for reduced thrust and improved self-centering at entry. The TiAlN coating extends tool life under high heat and abrasion. At 9.70 mm in diameter with a 4.055-inch overall length and a 2.402-inch flute length, this is a precision tool built for production and maintenance environments where consistency and tool life matter. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed applications in CNC machining centers.
This drill bit is suited for metalworking applications where stainless steel, hardened alloys, and other tough materials are routinely machined. It is commonly used in CNC machining centers, production drilling fixtures, and job shop environments. The straight cylindrical shank with a 10 mm shank diameter fits standard drill chucks and collet systems. The regular spiral flute geometry and right-hand cutting direction make it compatible with standard spindle setups. It is appropriate for both flood and through-spindle coolant delivery systems.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and drill fixtures accepting a 10 mm straight cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material is stainless steel; the solid carbide construction and TiAlN coating also support use in other ferrous and high-temperature alloys where high-speed steel tooling is insufficient.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully within the collet or chuck to the manufacturer-recommended grip length before use. Verify spindle speed and feed rate parameters are set appropriately for the workpiece material and drill diameter before initiating a cut. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for damage before each use; a chipped carbide edge on a high-speed application can cause tool failure or workpiece damage.
