The ACCUPRO 4500162 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. It features a 3.00 mm diameter (0.1181 inches) cutting edge, a 140-degree split point geometry, and a TiAlN coating that extends tool life by resisting heat and wear at elevated cutting speeds. The R-thinned web reduces thrust and improves chip evacuation at the point. With an overall length of 66.00 mm (2.5984 inches) and a flute length of 28.00 mm (1.1024 inches), this bit suits precision drilling in tight-tolerance applications. A coolant-through design delivers cutting fluid directly to the tip, making it well suited for machining centers and CNC setups. This drill bit is rated for primary use in stainless steel, a material class that demands high cutting edge integrity and effective heat management. Verify coolant-through passages are clear and system pressure is adequate before beginning a drilling cycle. Do not use this bit in a hammer drill or handheld drill driver.
