The ACCUPRO 4500132 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. Ground to a 140-degree point angle with a proprietary point geometry and R-thinned web, it enters workpieces cleanly and reduces thrust load. The TiAlN coating extends tool life in high-heat cutting environments. At 3-27/64 inches overall length with a 1-17/32 inch flute length, it fits standard jobber-length applications. A right-hand spiral flute clears chips efficiently. This bit is suited for use by machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians working with hard or abrasive materials.
The 4500132 is engineered primarily for stainless steel and other difficult-to-machine ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports deeper hole applications within the jobber-length range. Coolant-through capability allows internal coolant delivery, which is critical when drilling stainless steel to manage heat buildup and chip evacuation at the cutting edge. The straight cylindrical shank with a 15/64 inch shank diameter seats securely in standard drill chucks and collet holders across CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual drill presses.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual drill presses equipped with standard drill chucks or collet holders accepting a 15/64 inch straight shank. Primary workpiece material is stainless steel; the TiAlN coating and solid carbide substrate also suit other hard and abrasive alloys.
This drill bit is installed and operated by machinists or qualified shop technicians. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet to the rated grip depth before operation and verify runout before cutting. When using coolant-through capability, confirm the machine spindle and toolholder are configured for internal coolant delivery at the correct pressure. Inspect the cutting edge and coating condition before each use; carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used if chipping is visible on the flute or point.
