The ACCUPRO 4500128 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding machining applications. It measures 12.00 mm in diameter with an overall length of 119.00 mm and a flute length of 71.00 mm. The 140-degree proprietary point geometry reduces thrust and improves centering at entry. A TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The slow-spiral, two-flute design promotes chip evacuation in deep-hole applications. This drill is suited for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with CNC machining centers and conventional drill presses.
The 4500128 is built for production and job-shop environments where carbide tooling is required to maintain hole tolerances and surface finish in hard or abrasive workpiece materials such as cast iron, hardened steel, and high-temp alloys. The straight cylindrical shank with a 12 mm shank diameter fits standard drill chucks and collet systems without modification. The UR-thinned web reduces cutting resistance and supports consistent performance at the rated flute-to-diameter ratio of 4xD. This drill ships individually and is sold as a single unit.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide jobber drill conforming to DIN specification, suitable for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and multi-spindle setups accepting a 12 mm straight shank.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with carbide tooling. Secure the shank fully in a matched collet or chuck before operation and verify runout before cutting. Carbide tooling is brittle — avoid side loading, interrupted cuts without proper setup, or hand-tightening in undersized holders. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for spindle speed and feed rate for the workpiece material and drill diameter.
