The ACCUPRO 4500110 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in hard and abrasive materials. It measures 9/16 inch (0.5625 inch) in diameter with a 5-inch overall length and features a 140-degree proprietary point angle for self-centering entry and reduced thrust. The TiAlN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in dry or minimal-lubrication cutting conditions. A slow spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation and maintains rigidity in deeper cuts. This drill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual drill presses by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with hardened steels, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys.
This jobber drill is intended for industrial and production machining applications where carbide tooling is required to meet tight tolerances or handle elevated cutting temperatures. The straight cylindrical shank accommodates standard drill chucks and collet holders with a 5/8-inch shank diameter. The 2-flute slow spiral design, combined with UR web thinning, makes it well suited for through-hole drilling in ferrous metals, stainless steel, and similar challenging workpiece materials. It conforms to DIN specification standards.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and drill presses equipped with standard drill chucks or collet holders accepting a 5/8-inch straight shank. Suited for drilling hardened steels, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar hard or abrasive workpiece materials requiring carbide tooling.
This drill bit is installed by a machinist or tool operator into a compatible chuck or collet system. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked before changing tooling. Verify chuck or collet bore matches the 5/8-inch shank diameter before tightening. Do not exceed the recommended cutting parameters for solid carbide tooling, as improper feed and speed settings can cause chipping or catastrophic bit failure.
