The ACCUPRO 4500006 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision drilling in hard and abrasive materials. The bit measures 1/8 inch (0.1250 inches) in diameter with a 140-degree split-point geometry for accurate positioning and reduced walking at entry. A TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-heat applications. The slow-spiral flute design promotes chip evacuation in tough materials. With a 2-inch overall length and right-hand cutting direction, this bit is suited for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand drilling operations performed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This drill bit is intended for use in metalworking and precision machining applications where standard high-speed steel bits are insufficient. Typical applications include drilling hardened steels, stainless alloys, cast iron, and other difficult-to-machine materials. The UR-thinned web reduces thrust requirements and improves centering. The straight cylindrical shank at 3/16 inch (0.1875 inches) diameter accepts standard drill chucks, making it compatible with most benchtop and CNC drilling setups commonly found in machine shops and industrial maintenance environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide jobber drill for standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 3/16 inch straight cylindrical shank across benchtop drill presses and CNC drilling platforms.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with carbide tooling. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout is within acceptable limits, as carbide bits are brittle and sensitive to lateral loading. Do not use carbide drills in machines with excessive spindle play. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for speed and feed rates appropriate to the workpiece material and bit diameter.
