The ACCUPRO 41689027 is a solid carbide double angle milling cutter designed for precision milling of V-grooves, chamfers, and angular slots in metalworking applications. Built with a 60-degree included angle and a 5/32-inch cutting diameter, this cutter delivers clean, accurate cuts in hardened and abrasive materials where high-speed steel tooling falls short. The uncoated solid carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance suited for light, high-precision cuts. With 4 teeth and a 0.045-inch cutting width, it produces fine chip loads appropriate for detailed work. A 3/16-inch shank mounts directly into standard collet chucks or end mill holders. This cutter is intended for use in metalworking environments where angular or V-profile features must be machined into workpieces. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or removing the cutter. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the collet or holder and torque the drawbar or nut to the toolholder specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, as small-diameter solid carbide tools are sensitive to excessive runout and can fracture under lateral load.
