The ACCUPRO 39534 is a single-end square end mill designed for general-purpose milling operations in metal, plastics, and composite materials. Manufactured from powdered metal, it delivers consistent hardness and wear resistance across the cutting edge. The tool features a 0.125 inch mill diameter, a 0.375 inch length of cut, and a 0.375 inch shank diameter, with a 30-degree helix angle that promotes smooth chip evacuation. At 2-5/16 inches overall length, it fits standard CNC machining centers and manual mills. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals specify this end mill for finish and semi-finish slotting, profiling, and plunge cuts in light to moderate material removal applications.
This end mill is suited for production and job shop environments where a small-diameter, short-length-of-cut tool is required. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry into workpiece material without a pre-drilled hole, adding flexibility in pocket milling and ramp-entry operations. The spiral flute design and right-hand cut with right-hand flute configuration make it compatible with standard CNC and manual spindle setups running conventional or climb milling passes.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill with a 0.375 inch straight shank, compatible with ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and Weldon-style side-lock holders sized for 3/8 inch shanks on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from the holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended engagement depth in the collet or holder before tightening, and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, and do not exceed the rated length-of-cut range of 0.300 to 0.500 inches when programming axial depth of cut.
