The ACCUPRO 38112595 is a solid carbide double angle milling cutter designed for precision dovetail slotting, chamfering, and angular groove milling in metalworking applications. Built with a 60-degree included angle and a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, this cutter delivers clean, accurate angular profiles in a single pass. The 7/64 inch (0.1090 inch) cutting width and 6-tooth configuration support efficient chip evacuation and consistent finish quality. At 4 inches overall length with a 1/2 inch shank diameter, it mounts directly into standard end mill holders or collet chucks. Solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed for high-speed cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Installation and use are handled by machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.
This cutter is suited for milling angular slots, dovetail features, chamfers, and undercuts on machining centers and manual knee mills. The 5/16 inch neck diameter and 1-39/64 inch neck length allow reach into restricted areas without sacrificing rigidity. The uncoated solid carbide construction makes it a reliable choice for general-purpose angular milling where a coated tool is not required. It is typically used on aluminum, brass, mild steel, and similar machinable alloys in both prototype and production runs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for machining centers and manual mills accepting 1/2 inch shank end mill holders or collet chuck tooling.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC operators. Secure the 1/2 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism per the machine tool manufacturer specification. Verify spindle runout before engaging the cut, as excess runout reduces tool life and surface finish quality. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material being machined.
