The ACCUPRO 36421550 is a single-end ball end mill designed for precision milling of contoured surfaces, slots, and profiled features in metalworking and machining applications. It measures 0.0938 inches in diameter with a 1.5 inches overall length and a 0.0790 inches length of cut. The tool is machined from solid carbide and features an AlTiCrN coating, which improves heat resistance and wear performance at elevated cutting speeds. With two flutes and a 0.1250 inches neck length, this end mill is suited for finishing passes and tight-tolerance work in hardened and abrasive materials. A licensed machinist or CNC operator typically selects this tool for high-speed and die-mold applications.
This end mill is appropriate for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where small-diameter, high-precision tooling is required. The 0.1250 inches shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and similar small-bore toolholders commonly found in production and job-shop environments. It is well suited for finishing contoured mold cavities, ramp milling, and profiling operations in steel, stainless steel, and similar ferrous alloys where the AlTiCrN coating provides an advantage over standard TiN or uncoated carbide tools.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement-style solid carbide ball end mill for CNC and manual milling machines using standard 1/8 inch shank collet chucks or toolholders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the recommended grip depth in the collet or toolholder and torque the retention nut to the collet manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use and confirm runout with a dial indicator after installation to protect the tool and workpiece.
