The ACCUPRO 35378 is a corner chamfer end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. Built from powdered metal, this tool delivers consistent edge strength and wear resistance across its 4 flutes. It measures 0.75 inches in cutting diameter with a 4.125-inch length of cut and an overall length of 6.375 inches. The 3/4-inch shank diameter fits standard tool holders used in vertical and horizontal milling setups. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright/uncoated finish suits a wide range of workpiece materials without added coating cost. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry into the material.
This tool is suited for machining operations that require chamfered corner profiles on workpieces. It is used in job shop, toolroom, and production environments where machinists need a reliable fine-pitch end mill with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. The fine pitch designation supports applications where surface finish and dimensional accuracy are priorities. Centercutting capability adds flexibility for slotting and plunge milling in addition to peripheral cuts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tool for standard 3/4-inch shank tool holders used in vertical mills, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills requiring a corner chamfer end mill profile.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Use a calibrated torque wrench and appropriate collet or end mill holder to secure the 3/4-inch shank to manufacturer-recommended clamping specifications for your machine tool. Inspect the cutting edges for damage before each use and replace the tool when edge wear affects surface finish or dimensional tolerances.
